Time Blocking and Color Coding

Are you actually working eight hours? Like, what you would be used to working in a corporate?

It just kinda moves around It kinda moves around eight hours It does move around. And then the other thing that I do, this helped me tremendously,
was I also structured, certain times, look at email. So I check my email. When I start the day, I check my email at lunch, and I check my email at the end of the day, my end of the day. And that way, I don't get time suck by email, which is a huge time sucker. I don't get sucked in by social media, which is another huge time sucker. But if I do some admin work, if it's admin then that’s time that I block, then that's when I'll do my social media stuff. Any emails and anything else that I would do? Email marketing, when I email, email marketing, and anything else that I would do, but that's admin time.
Then I also delineate between paid client time, admin time, and color, that's the other thing I. I color-coded everything on my calendar. So personal time is one color. Paid coaching client time is another, admin time is another,
and professional development is another color. That really helps me to see where to keep my calendar straight too, and to see if I'm not too heavy in one area or another. That also creates that work-life balance.
