Argentina has been twice World Cup Champion - in 1978 and 1986. According to sports data group Gracenote, Argentina's 2-1 defeat in their Group C match in Qatar is the biggest upset in the history of the World Cup. Saudi Arabia has indeed stunned Lionel Messi's Argentina as well as the World.

Many had expected Argentina, with 48 places superior to the rival team and led by Lionel Messi ranked 3rd in the World, to sweep aside Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia's victory was estimated at 8.7%. But two second-half goals from Saleh Al-Shehri and Salem Al Dawsari turned the game on its head.

Saudi Arabia celebrates in joy with an official holiday announced in Saudi Arabia by the Saudi government.
