1 Samuel 15-16: To Obey is Better than Sacrifice

In 1 Samuel 15 - 16, war ensues with the Amalekites whom God commands Israel to utterly destroy for attacking God's people from behind when the children of Israel came out of Egypt. King Saul disobeys God again and the kingdom is torn from him. David is anointed king.
