Which is higher the Euro or the USD?
The USD is currently lower than the Euro. If you have 1 Dollar it would buy .97 Euro.
For example if you have a $100 per day spending budget in Spain, it would get you 96.53 Euro's (approximately). Currencies are constantly changing prices, so make sure to keep up to date on what the currency is worth if you are traveling to Spain.

Also, make sure to always pay in Euros if you use something to charge on your card. For example if you go out to eat at a restaurant in Spain and they bring the card machine for payment, always press the button that says "charge in Euros." If you charge in "USD" the card machine makes the exchange rate and they take a cut, which means that you end up paying more. So when you are traveling, always pay in the local currency. #shorts
