Fauci urges Americans to get vaccinated in final White House briefing before stepping down

Dr. Anthony Fauci urged Americans to get their updated COVID-19 booster shots in his final press briefing from the White House on Tuesday, November 22. In what Dr Fauci described as his, “final message,” from the White House podium, he said, “get your updated COVID-19 shot as soon as you are eligible to protect yourself, your family and your community.” Fauci announced in August that he would be stepping down as Chief Medical Advisor in December, though he clarified he will not be retiring and will continue to work in the medical science field.
