Congressman Andrew Clyde was on our show 2 days ago. He was asked if McCarthy had the votes to become speaker. Clyde said there were still negotiations happening to take the Speaker of the House. Clyde also said that the conservatives will be in charge of the House. Some say that McCarthy going to the border asking for the resignation of Mayorkas was a campaign stunt to become Speaker. McCarthy also announced that several committee bans will happen among democrat representatives.

All the emphasis has been on Donald Trump and Donald Trump losing. Ron DeSantis overwhelmingly won in FL. All these people who keep saying we need traditional republicans would put DeSantis as a Trump replacement. But many people think DeSantis is the Trump they can accept.
