1036 Doctrines of the World

In 1036 Doctrines of the World, Reverend Nick Catania shows us that everybody has a doctrine and the world can be confusing. Man doesn't see what's going on spiritually. When they fix one manifestation of evil, they encounter another because they don't see the root of a problem. For example, it's not true that you're bad if you hurt someone's feelings. Jesus hurt people's feelings. He was not a bad man.
The narrative around Monkeypox is meant to make everybody afraid, but the media doesn't indicate that it targets a specific community. Sin is sin and there is not a bigger sin and it doesn't make someone a very bad person. Doctrines of the world are promoted by the world. What is written in the Word is written for our doctrine.
Many people go to church and don't learn anything at church. Doctrine comes from the scripture. All scripture is good for doctrine, reproof, and correction. Many people don't like to confront or reprove. Reproof is loving. You reprove your child. John the Baptist was imprisoned for reproving Herod and lost his head for it, so people are afraid of confrontation.
If you want to help people, there's backlash occasionally. Correction gets you back on the right path, though. Religious leaders of Christ's day taught for doctrine the commandments of men. Teachings of men today get us nowhere. You get bombarded with the doctrines of the world. The devil wants to affect each of us. His pulpit is the media of this world. God is still there if you decide to return to his Word. It's our job to separate ourselves. The media has agendas, but don't go there. We are to love people regardless of sin, but keep yourself from evil.
