These strikes will I suspect backfire
The strikes will backfire. (1) I suspect at this moment the company will be looking at moving its factory out of the UK. (2) I suspect other firms are also now looking at moving out of the UK to lower costs and avoid strike problems. (3) I suspect a lot of business will not now move to the UK to avoid strikes and so on. (4) I suspect the public will not support the strikes just like the 1970’s and not vote Labour for years. (5) On a side note one wonders if Labour was not getting vast amounts of money from unions, would they be so pro strikes. Indeed, are Labour MP’s independent of thought or being influenced by the money Labour gets from unions?
