At the Movies w/ Robert & Bianca: Planet of the Apes (2001)

Bianca & I wrap up our Planet of the Apes Marathon (For now) with the Tim Burton "Re-imagining" of the franchise! It's...not the WORST of the movies but it's not that great. Amazing make up & action...but the story is confusing & inconsistent.

In 2029, an Air Force astronaut crash-lands on a mysterious planet where evolved, talking apes dominate a race of primitive humans.

It is the year 2029: Astronaut Leo Davidson boards a pod cruiser on a Space Station on a rescue and recovery mission. But an abrupt detour through a space time wormhole lands him on a strange planet where talking apes rule over the human race.
