Word Of Mouth Marketing

What I've discovered is saying not necessarily what you do, but these are the types of people I'm looking for, or this is who I'd like to work with. Have you discovered that to be true for you as well?

If you describe more of who you're looking for that works easier? That goes back to that asking that I was talking about earlier when you ask yourself, when you ask people like with the marketing consultant, I ended up with the marketing consultant. So you could ask, I need this type of client.
I work with this type of client. Do you know somebody who needs my services? I've gotten word-of-mouth clients that way. Where there was one client, a woman that I know, and we've known each other for several years and then I just got a phone call one day. Could you have a consultation with my son? Sure.

One time I was flying back from Texas and I can't even remember why I was in Texas. Back to Portland, and I sat next to this gentleman on the airplane who was visiting his daughter who was going to school up here in Portland.
He happened to have some sort of business in Texas that was different from what he ended up hiring me for. But, like, three years later or more, somewhere around three, he called me up and he goes, hey, Dotty, I don't know if you remember me. I'm so and so we flew next to each other on an airplane And I remember you saying that you build websites. I need a website. Can I hire you? I was like, sure.
