VinFast is a newcomer to the global market. This Vietnamese automaker, with headquarters in Singapore, has quickly expanded its production from electric scooters to SUVs, and its ambitions have grown as quickly as the size of its products. The company plans to sell a two-row fully-electric SUV dubbed the VF8 and a larger three-row version, the VF9, here in the United States, vehicles will be built in their new North Carolina plant.
