Powers for telcos to share data with banks after cyber-attacks strengthened

Communications minister Michelle Rowland said changes to telecommunications regulations will allow telcos to 'better coordinate' with financial institutions to 'detect and mitigate the risks of malicious activity, including ID theft and scams'.
