This is a tory of an Angry Boy: Once upon a time there was a little boy who was always angry. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him to drive a nail into the back of the fence if he lost his temper. On the first day, the boy drove 60 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of daily gags gradually decreased. He found it easier to contain his anger than to drive nails into a fence. Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his composure at all. He told this to his father, who suggested that the boy pull the nail out every day if he could control his anger. Days passed and the boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone. The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said, "Well done son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. If you say something angry, they leave the same scar. You can stick a knife in a person and pull them out. It doesn't matter how many times you apologize. The wound remains. Don't hold on to anger, resentment, or pain. They steal your energy and keep you from love. In a heart full of anger there is no room for love.
Moral: Conquer the angry one by not getting angry; conquer the wicked by goodness; conquer the stingy by generosity, and the liar by speaking the truth. Don't hold to anger, hurt or pain. They steal your energy and keep you from love. A heart filled with anger has no room for love.
