Can I get some passive income by selling annuities?

Good question.

To make it clear since the question is not clear and I only have your words, if you mean can you build up passive income by working as a salesperson and selling annuities, then the answer is no. That is not passive income. Working to generate income and then later investing it is not passive income.

Passive income is when you have cash available for investment and then choose to purchase a proper passive income investment like corporate income bonds or limited partnership interests in a multifamily apartment community.

If you meant instead “can I get passive income by buying annuities” then yes that would generate passive income. Although it likely is not the best way and the rate of return you get might be lower than what you could earn with other passive income investments.
