Midco Missouri Ozarks Ozark Hippie Camp

Welcome to another adventure deep in the Missouri Ozarks. The past of all levels is all around us. We are discovering one town, mound and mystery of each new place we get to explore here in the middle of America.

We appreciate all the wonderful viewers, today's expedition leads thru a town that was built in 1917 known as Midco, Mid-Continental Iron Works built a huge facility, the area has a freshwater spring with continuous flow. You'll see the 150ft smoke stack that's still standing. Most of the 200 houses were left in ruin, however, we did spot a few that still were in perfect condition. Hemppie wants to thank the land owner and Traven Clark for taking us back in there to truly explore. What a honor to walk thru walls of history.

The smoke stack entrance and walk thru was out of this world.
