Speaker Nancy Pelosi will be succeeded as the House minority leader by Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.). But isn’t Jeffries an “election denier”? After President Donald Trump’s election in 2016, Jeffries posted on Twitter in 2018: “LIE (more than any administration in the history of the Republic.) CHEAT (2016 election/Russian Interference). STEAL (one or two Supreme Court seats). When will Republicans put country ahead of party?”

“The more we learn about the 2016 election, the more ILLEGITIMATE it becomes,” Jeffries posted from his congressional Twitter account four years ago, claiming Russian interference benefited Trump. “America deserves to know whether we have a FAKE president in the Oval Office.”

In 2019, he said that Trump was put into the White House “artificially” after special counsel Robert Mueller had concluded Trump had not colluded with Russia and did not obstruct justice.

In 2020, Jeffries posted: “History will never accept you as a legitimate president.”

Last year in March, he wrote: “What kind of political party worships at the altar of voter suppression? A morally bankrupt one.”

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Hakeem Jeffries, “election denier.”
