315LB BARBELL ROWS
I’m a form nazi.
FOR MOST SETS.
One all out set. Max weight. Max reps. BEYOND FAILURE!
Form is loose and intensity is high.
When I add these in I grow the most.
What you don’t see are the 3-4 sets before this with PERFECT form, done 3-4 reps shy of failure.
To grow optimally, you have to push beyond your limits, and that can sometimes mean you get a little crazy.
Plus, training methodically all the time would suck. Sometimes you just want to blast the 5 Finger Death Punch and lift like a madman.
This is my therapy. This is my time. These are my gains.
Today’s workout:
Lat Pull Downs: 3 sets plus 1 HUGE drop set
Barbell Rows: 135x6, 225x6. 315 to failure
Hammer Hi Row: 4 plates x 10, 6 plates x failure drop set
Cable Low Row: 1 warmup and one monster drop set
Rack Deadlift: 315 x 5, 405 to failure
Dumbbell Pullover: 50lbs for 3 sets of 8
