What Is Homesteading? | What Homesteading Has Been For Me | #whatishomesteading

Homesteading has become really popular over the last few years, for a lot of good reasons. Homesteading has given people the opportunity to take more control over their spending, ability to cut back on going to the store, ability to provide their families with healthy food options and has given many people a sense of accomplishment and purpose. Today I am sharing with you my views on what homesteading has meant to me and why we started homesteading as a family. My views may be different from others, but the common understanding of homesteading is there. I think it is kind of funny to call it homesteading when just decades ago this was just the lifestyle for everyone. I truly believe we don't need to live like our grandparents or great grandparents, to be considered a homestead, but looking at modern day homesteading as we have more opportunities today.
