Joe Biden jokes about ‘red wave’ during traditional pre-Thanksgiving turkey pardon

US President Joe Biden joked about Republicans underperforming expectations in the midterm elections at the traditional pre-Thanksgiving turkey pardon.

"The only red wave this season is gonna be if our German shepherd, Commander, knocks over the cranberry sauce at our table," Mr Biden said.
