President Donald Trump's legal team has formally received a subpoena from the House select committee investigating the events at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
Representing Trump in the affair is The Dhillon Law Group, according to Politico. Dhillon attorney Matthew Sarelson accepted the subpoena on Monday.
The committee seeks Trump's deposition prior to Nov. 14 and the provision of documents by Nov. 4. Trump has not yet announced any plans to contest the subpoena.
