The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost another British Mastiff in the Kherson region.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces showed a photo of the vehicle with a distinct trace from a tank shell.

🔹 To be precise, the Mastiff is a British version of the American Cougar 6×6 armored vehicles. They are produced since 2006.

🔹 They are designed for transport of personnel with good protection against mines, which gives strengthened V-shaped bottom.

🔹The design allows the armored vehicles to withstand an explosion of up to 13.5 kg of TNT, and their armament is machine guns or automatic grenade launchers.

🔹Characteristics: 12 troopers + 2 crew; maximum speed up to 58 km/h; weight almost 16 tons, carrying weight up to 2 tons.

Great Britain actively used the vehicles in Iraq and Afghanistan, which reduced the number of casualties from enemy fire, well proven
