Friends Worldwide

Well, I love the fact that you can now meet people from all over the world. Before Zoom, before COVID for that matter, I, of course, know that people live everywhere, and people are people, and they're pretty much all the same everywhere. But I've never really had the opportunity until now to really get to know people that are completely different from myself in the sense that
they live in other countries, follow other rules, have different languages, and just have different ways of approaching things. It has helped me expand the way I think and grow. What do you think about that, Heshie?

I think it's like doing your research online. It just is amazing. I've said to people on numerous occasions that one of the reasons I love having a diverse network is if I didn't want to Google something, I could just call someone. I remember talking with my friend Choix who I think is there now. And we were talking about the price of gas. And so I just picked up, you know, I just went on WhatsApp and I reached out to him and said, so how much does the liter of gas cost in Saint Lucia? I mean, I met him through a Zoom meeting. We became friends, and I just think that he's fabulous. He can tell me things for sure, for real, that I don't have to look up because he lives in a place that I have not been to it yet, although I'm threatening to come to visit him. So there's so much we can learn if we reach out and build.
It's like having tentacles everywhere. And it works.
