Angel Tree Campaign Underway | Monday, November 21, 2022 | Micah Quinn | Bridge City News

Giving is a big part of Christmas especially to children in need. That is what the Angel Tree campaign is all about here in Lethbridge. Gift bundles are packaged up by volunteers to be distributed out to families who are in need.

Officials for the campaign say that last year they gave out gifts out to 3300 children. This year they are looking to beat that number and help out around 3500 kids. The group was also presented with a cheque of $6,000 on Monday morning which will go a long way in helping bring joy to children this Christmas season.

If you are thinking of giving toys to the campaign staff say that Lego, dolls, science kits, and art supplies are highest on their list.
