Why The Warriors Need To Trade For Kevin Durant
Warriors need to trade for Kevin Durant and here is why, hi my name is Emmanuel Kamia and in this video, I explain why the Warriors should pursue a Kevin durant trade. first, f all the warriors are struggling right now and are in need of some help. it was just about five months ago when the golden state warriors won the NBA finals and took home the championship. but today the warriors look like. a completely different team from that team that won a championship. And what's worse about the situation is that nothing changed, the warriors didn't lose a key player to free agency of injuries, so it is the same group of guys. what happened is when Draymond Green punched Jordan Poole in the face everything went downhill, and in order to fully understand this we have to go back one full year to November of 2021, during this time the warriors did not have Klay Thompson, he was still nursing his injury and eyeing a return date the following December, but in the meantime the warriors found. a new young star in Jordan Poole, with the absence of Kaly Thompson Jordan Poole, took on the task of being the second goto scorer, and he played that role very well, in fact, there were periods of time when Stephen Curry could go to the bench and rest and both he and steve Kerr could rest knowing that Jordan Poole could supplement the scoring. and this Jordan Poole was very crucial to the warriors' success last year, including in the NBA finals. but fast forward to November 2022 and Jordan Poole isn't the same ever since Draymond Green Punched and embarrassed him in front of his teammates. he has lost his confidence and as a result, his performance has declined. that coupled with Klay Thompson struggling leaves Stephen Curry with the responsibility of carrying the team and this is why the warriors are in need of additional help if they hope to return to the NBA finals this season. Enter Kevin Durant, Kevin Durant would fit perfectly because he has played in the golden state and he too is having problems with his team. he has recently weighed in on how frustrating it is for him to play on a team that doesn't really have much talent. all the quotes about this frustration are littered within this video. But because of that, I think it's time for Kevin Durant to go back to where he was most successful. Both of these parties need each other as it was in 2016.
