Sean Fraser (minister of immigration and MP for Central Nova) announces a federal grant of up to $5000 to help low-to-median-income households convert from oil to electric heat pumps. The new grant program builds on the Canada Greener Homes Initiative that was announced in September 2022. Joining the minister at the news conference in Stellarton, N.S., are Stephen MacDonald (president and CEO of Efficiency One) and Dwaine MacDonald (president and CEO of Trinity Energy Group).
