Illinois high school physical education teacher's job hangs in the balance after he was suspended for refusing to let transgender boy use the boys' locker room - as dozens of parents call on board to 'do the right thing'
Dozens of parents turned out to an Illinois schoolboard meeting to defend a teacher who was previously suspended for denying a transgender student to change inside a boys' locker room, which has put his employment in jeopardy.
Cody Hiller, a married father-of-six and physical education teacher at West Frankfort High School, was placed on administrative leave last month. Hiller said when the school received new students, one transgender boy told school administrators they planned on using the boys' locker room.
