JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew 26:14-22
• Matt 26:14-16 Why would Judas want to betray Jesus? Judas, like the other disciples, expected Jesus to start a political rebellion and overthrow Rome. As treasurer, Judas certainly assumed (as did the other disciples that he would be given an important position in Jesus' new government. But when Jesus praised Mary for pouring out perfume worth a year's salary, Judas may have realized that Jesus' Kingdom was not physical or political but spiritual. Judas's greedy desire for money and status could not be realized if he followed Jesus, so he betrayed Jesus in exchange for money and favor from the religious leaders.

• Matt 26:17-19 Evidently, the owner of this house was an unnamed friend of Jesus. He was one who worked behind the scenes, making the necessary preparations so Jesus could celebrate Passover with His disciples. I believe there is a special place in heaven for the unnamed servant. You might be one of those people no one applauds or even acknowledges. You simply serve behind the scenes, making things right for Jesus and His people. God bless you! I'm convinced that a whole bunch of us who are seen and applauded are getting our reward now. But those who are serving secretly, those who are unnamed and unknown will be rewarded openly by our Father who sees in secret.

JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew 26:14-22
• Matt. 26:20-22 The first Passover (supper) was eaten standing, with their loins girded and their staff in their hand, denoting the haste with which they were about to flee from Egypt. This Passover was eaten sitting down denoting the work ahead of Jesus on our behalf. Jesus told them of the pending betrayal. Judas had already betrayed him, and he was now about to deliver him into the hands of the chief priests, according to the agreement he had made with them. the eleven who were innocent; and the hypocritical traitor, Judas, endeavored to put on the appearance of sorrow. Strange! Did he not know that Christ knew the secrets of his soul! Or had his love of money so far blinded him, as to render him incapable of discerning that Jesus knows all things and all men?

Father, in the name of Jesus, I curse the root of hypocrisy, greed and contempt for Your kingdom. May I never be another Judas. 2 Cor. 13:5
5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Daily Covenant Favor Declaration
I decree in the name of Jesus, from this moment forward, I see myself the way God sees me. I am highly favoured of the Lord. I am crowned with glory and honour. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
I am reigning as a king in life through the one man Jesus Christ the messiah. Now in Jesus name, I declare by faith that I walk in divine favour, I have preferential treatment, supernatural increase. I have restoration, I have prominence, I have petitions granted, laws changed, policies and rules changed, and battles won, which I do not have to fight all because of favour. The blessing and favour of God is on my life. In Jesus name, every morning, when I arise, I would speak and expect divine favour to go before me and surround me as with a shield, with goodwill and pleasures forevermore.

Doors are now open for me that men said are impossible to open. No obstacles can stop me, no hindrances can delay me. In Jesus name, I am honoured by my Father, as I receive genuine favour that comes directly from God. I am special to Him, I am the object of His affection, I am the apple of His eyes, I am blessed and highly favoured of the Lord. Everyone and everything shall work to favour me. Angels Goodness and Mercy shall accompany me in all my ways. It is written with long life will God satisfy me and show me his salvation. Therefore, I declare that I shall not die but live to declare the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. I declare over me and my household today that the yoke and burden of death over us is broken. So shall it be for me and my household today in Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen!
