“It is true that cell phones represent an under acknowledged threat to the minds, psychological health and social skills of young people. It is also true that cell phones can be significantly disruptive in many environments including the classroom. It is also true the last two political or election cycles have been greatly influenced by parents who became aware of goings on in the classrooms across America during the lockdowns of the pandemic. Now parents are being told by their kids, the teacher has advised them what happens in class is not the business of the parent. Leaders must be vigilant and observant when new ideas or policies seem to be too good to be true, or a reversal of long standing ideologies.” J Loren Norris
