Why Should Women Return to the Local Church?

In the past ten 10 years, the rate of American women who attend church has gone from 48% to just 31%. What's going on? Historically, men have left the church at higher rates, but now that gap is closing.

I was fascinated by these numbers and wanted to investigate why. Why were self-described Christian women leaving their local churches? There was a lot to uncover.

One thing I did discover is that most women aren't leaving their faith. Most have a deep desire to improve their faith lives and know God better. But they are busy, broken, lost and sometimes hurt.

In "Reason to Return: Why Women Need the Church & the Church Needs Women," I dive into the data, the personal stories of women and my own church history to uncover why church matters, how it helps women and why the Church is less without them.
