This footage shows Ukrainian tankman loading rockets and shooting at enemy positions with a smile on his face as the Ukrainian Defence Force shows off its humorous side.

The footage was released by the Ukrainian Centre For Strategic Communications (StratCom), along with a statement that said: 'Toon reports: The zucchini is going!

'Everything that is done by our defenders is done professionally and with a bit of humour.'

'Zucchini' was reportedly being used as a code word for the missile - by the soldier nicknamed Toon, who fires from inside the tank to make a report to another soldier, nicknamed Felix.

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24 in what the Kremlin is still calling a 'special military operation.'
