The Brothers Yeo react to episode 5, "All Eyez On Me," of the critically acclaimed Cyberpunk Edgerunners animated series. Brandon is worried. Nathan is too. We're halfway through the series. It's becoming apparent that David runs serious risks using the Sandevistan. Did or didn't Jimmy Kurosaki smirk at David while he was dying? Did David hallucinate that? What did Kurosaki do to David's brain? Is this the first sign of cyberpsychosis?

David earnestly believes that he is built different. Famous last words. But we have our doubts. Being halfway through the series, this is the turning point episode. The real villain has been introduced. Will David's implant devour him? The threat of cyberpsychosis now hangs like the Sword of Damocles over our protagonist.

David is on a hero's journey. But this is science fiction. And as tends to be the case, science fiction is the genre of subversion. This won't be good for David.
