The Loch Ness Monster is the most famous of all the sea monsters in the world but there are many other accounts of creatures that have been seen in lakes, rivers and oceans all over the world. As of the year 2000, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) estimated that as much as 95 percent of the world's oceans and 99 percent of the ocean floor are unexplored. If you consider that only a small % of the oceans, lakes and rivers have been explored then it is not unimaginable to think that there may be undiscovered species of aquatic creatures dwelling in them.
