Forbes, Dubbo and Wagga Wagga under flood threat

Authorities are instructing residents in Forbes, Dubbo and Wagga Wagga to stay vigilant in the wake of heavy rainfall on the weekend.

Multiple towns, including Forbes, recorded more than 100 millimetres in under 24 hours.

Emergency warnings were issued for Canowindra and Molong early this morning.

Authorities are meanwhile warning the New South Wales flood crisis is likely to continue well into the festive season.
