Jackie O to temporarily step away from radio program

Radio presenter Jackie 'O' Henderson has announced she will be stepping back from her hit program on KIIS-FM for health reasons.

The radio host revealed on air this morning that she would be taking extended leave to fully recover from poor health after contracting COVID-19 a few months ago.

Ms Henderson hasn't specified when she would return to the airwaves, however, some suggest it may not be until the new year.

The announcement comes after she and KIIS-FM co-host Kyle Sandilands topped the Sydney radio ratings last week.
