According to the history books;
The first FIFA world cup was held in 1930, in Uruguay. It was originally going to be held in Chile, but due to economic difficulties, the venue was changed. The first world cup was a success, with Uruguay winning the tournament.

The second FIFA world cup was held in 1934, in Italy. This time, there were more teams competing, and the tournament was expanded to include a group stage. once again, Uruguay emerged victorious.

The third FIFA world cup was held in 1938, in France. This time, the number of teams increased even further, and the format was changed to include a knockout stage. Brazil won the tournament for the first time.
