Karen Bass Wins L.A. Mayor's Race

NBC News projects that Congresswoman Karen Bass will become the first woman to hold the office of Los Angeles mayor defeating real estate developer Rick Caruso. Although both were Democrats, Bass had the backing of their party while Caruso was backed by fellow billionaire Elon Musk.
