On Latvian Independence Day - the people sing 'Zem Mūsu Kājām' - an anthem of Latvian Nazi SS divisions.

The notorious Sonderkommando Arajs, was single handedly responsible for the murder of 26,000 Jews (always check official records, not Wikipedia - this is just a quick intro to the Legion.)
