The moment Karim Benzema picks up thigh injury that has ruled him out of the World Cup

France striker Karim Benzema is out of the World Cup through injury, according to French media reports on Saturday.

The Ballon D'or winner reportedly picked up a thigh injury during training on Saturday ahead of their opening game against Denmark on Tuesday.

L'Equipe reported that there were fears in the French camp that Benzema may be ruled out of that game and could even miss the whole tournament.
