A herd of sheep in China has been walking in a circle with no explanation for almost two weeks now, and no one seems to really know why. The mysterious sight has drawn many questions and speculations.

In northern China’s Inner Mongolia region. The bizarre behavior, captured on surveillance video, shows the large flock continuously marching clockwise in a nearly perfect circle on a farm.

The sheep owner, identified as Miao, said it started with just a few sheep before other members of the flock joined in. According to the sheep owner, identified as Miao, who was quoted by the Daily Mail, only the sheep in pen number 13 have been behaving in this manner out of the 34 sheep pens.

But according to medical experts, there is a disease that causes some animals to appear disoriented and start circling that is called listeriosis. This disease can inflame one side of the brain, and that causes the unusual behaviour of the sheep.
