In this video Douglas is going solo again and working on more development on our off grid property.

Hey and welcome! We are Douglas and Keri! In May of 2022 we quit our jobs and sold our home near Denver, Colorado. We traveled for 3 months, then moved onto our off grid homestead property in Cochise County, Arizona in September 2022. Follow along with us as we build our off grid homestead property with our 2 rebels, Willow & Zoey and our kitty, Boo.

We are really trying to focus on getting more of our infrastructure and dirt work in and today Douglas is showing you further plans for the property and what he’s been up to while I am visiting with my family. We have long term plans to have trails winding through the property where the more scenic parts of the property are. We still have a lot of exploring to do to figure out where everything is going to go.

Our long term goal is to plant vineyards of some kind, possibly grapes or olives, as well as raising livestock for food security and the long term goal of making a living from the land. We are also still considering whether or not to dig a well and we will be making a decision on that in the next week.
