Homeless prevention funding to be released

Earlier this month, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced the state was holding the third round of H-HAP grants from local governments and that the funds would only be handed out if counties came up with more "aggressive" plans to address the issue. Now the governor says he'll release those funds as early as next week if more counties agree to his conditions. So far 21 have pledged to enact those policies.
