One of the gifts of a Born Again Believer is the ability to distinguish truth from error?

Joh 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, you say that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth hears my voice.

Pilate was looking Truth right in the eye and he was unable to detect it.

The reason, He could care less about truth, his main concern was Rome and His position within Rome and keeping the peace at all cost, truth was irrelevant.

One thing for certain on the day of his death Pilate realized his mistake?

Eph 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things comes the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Eph 5:7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
Eph 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

Paul gives us a very important truth, “Ye are Light in the Lord” and because of that he commands us to “Walk as Children of light”.

How do you do that? Remove all everything that is false, IE. lies and errors?

Eph 6:14a Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth.

The greatest gift you could ever give yourself is the gift of truth.

Joh 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
Joh 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

If the Truth shall make you free then error will bind you?

Anything that has you bound is error, and it comes in three forms, people, places, and things?
