Rishi Sunak meets with Zelensky in Kyiv pledging support to Ukraine

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv on Saturday (November 19), marking the first visit by the UK's new leader.

Video of the meeting was released by the Ukrainian presidential service, showing Sunak and Zelensky speaking one-to-one and holding talks with other officials.

Britain is one of the most vocal critics of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. It has so far committed 3.8 billion pounds ($4.5 billion) in military and economic aid to Ukraine since the war began in February.
