Queen Elizabeth Appoints U.K.’s New Prime Minister

In a rare public appearance, Queen Elizabeth appointed Elizabeth Truss as the U.K.’s third female prime minister. Prime Minister Truss traveled 500 miles to Balmoral Castle in Scotland because of the Queen’s mobility issues, which hasn’t happened for 140 years. Truss is being compared to Margaret Thatcher as she faces economic storms ahead.
