Vivek Chibber is a professor of sociology at New York University. He is the editor of Catalyst: A Journal of Theory and Strategy, and the author of many books, including Postcolonial Theory and the Specter of Capital, The Class Matrix, and his most recent text, Confronting Capitalism.
