Rep. Matt Gaetz: "Kevin McCarthy doesn't have 218 votes to be Speaker. He doesn't have 200 votes. He doesn't have 190 votes, and that's because it's more of the same. In Congress, we need to turn the page. We need to get away from the corrupt system that puts the lobbyists and special interests in charge, and we need a fighting Republican Majority. It's one I don't think Kevin McCarthy can lead, and that's why we're trying to find alternatives."
