A 2022 American superhero movie called Black Adam is based on the same-named DC Comics character. produced by DC Films, FlynnPictureCo, Seven Bucks Productions, and New Line Cinema.
It is the eleventh film in the DC Extended Universe and a spin-off of the 2019 movie Shazam! (DCEU). The movie, which is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and has a screenplay by Adam Sztykiel, Rory Haines, and Sohrab Noshirvani, also stars Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, Quintessa Swindell, Bodhi Sabongui, and Pierce Brosnan. Dwayne Johnson plays the title role.
