National Black Farmers Association (NBFA) President John Boyd derided the Biden administration over its repeal of a debt relief program targeting farmers of color.
Through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), Biden attempted to cancel $4 billion in debt owed by farmers of color though a string of lawsuits challenging the racial criteria for debt relief hamstrung the effort, the Epoch Times noted. Boyd said that Biden had broken his promise to speak with him directly via FaceTime and lamented that the debt cancellation effort had failed.
