Large Live Edge Cherry Bowl

Today we have a large piece of cherry to turn. This is a little over 12 inches diameter and about 8 inches thick or slightly larger. I made this piece to take with me for an event at Tamarack, here in West Virginia. I submitted some photos to them back in October this year, 2022, to see if they would accept me as an Artisan. November 7th, 2022, I received the email saying they wanted to see my work in person. I had to take at least 6 pieces for them to look at. Well, I wanted to make something just for the event. This is a longer than usual video as I do talk some in it and there was a lot of wood to turn.
