In a virtual news conference, federal health officials provide an update on the shortage of infant and children's acetaminophen and ibuprofen, as well as an update on COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses. Taking part in the briefing are Dr. Supriya Sharma, chief medical adviser with Health Canada, Dr. Marc Berthiaume, director of the Bureau of Medical Science at Health Canada, Dr. Theresa Tam, Canada’s chief public health officer, and Dr. Howard Njoo, the deputy chief public health officer.
